This seminar will be hosted in Wilmington at the new DSBA Conference Center and will be remote broadcasted to Dover and Georgetown. All locations will offer “live” CLE credit.

Come hear from the Delaware Court of Common Pleas on how to appropriately file a Petition for a Name Change and a Motion to Proceed Under Seal. This CLE will cover how to properly file these court documents and the common mistakes made by filers. Attending this CLE will also serve as a refresher before the LGBTQ+ Section and Delaware Volunteer Legal Services (“DVLS”) team up for a name change clinic on Saturday, June 1, 2024 where those seeking name changes will be matched with a volunteer attorney to guide them through the name change process.
