This program offers a comprehensive overview of Delaware’s legislative process, including best practices for legislative drafting, guidance on effective lobbying strategies, and ways to engage the Delaware State Bar Association (DSBA) as a resource.

  • Legislative drafting process, including the use of a specialized drafting manual developed to assist in drafting and proofreading legislation.
  • Discussion of prominent issues regularly presented to the General Assembly.
  • Practical considerations and recommendations related to lobbying
  • Elected official perspective on voting on legislation
  • Delaware State Bar Association (DSBA) will provide guidance on how to effectively gather input from the organization or its individual sections concerning proposed legislation.

This seminar offers 2.0 credits to Delaware and Pennsylvania Attorneys.
