Gender Identity and Transgender Policies 
More parents and children are identifying as transgender and parts of the country are very hostile to transgender people. There was recent legislation in FL changing their UCCJEA to allow FL to take emergency custody of children passing through who were being “subjected to transgender affirming care.”
