The Delaware Law Related Education Center (DELREC) and the ACLU are teaming up to provide an update on the state of education and civics in Delaware. Do you know where Delaware ranks in reading and math amongst the 50 states? Do you know about the proposed change to school funding and redistricting in Wilmington? From desegregation efforts, to busing, charter schools, school choice, neighborhood schools, and school unit funding, our panelists will explain where we are today in Delaware education and how we got here. As organizations hoping to improve civic knowledge and engagement in Delaware, DELREC and the ACLU will engage participants in a discussion of best practices and future plans.
Lunch will be provided by the DSBA.
This seminar offers 1.5 ethics credits to Delaware and Pennsylvania Attorneys; 1.8 ethics credits to New Jersey Attorneys.

Those attendees who wish to receive CLE credit, other than from Delaware, New Jersey or Pennsylvania, should contact their individual State’s CLE Commission for credit. The Delaware State Bar Association can provide you with the agenda (included in the Materials sent with your registration confirmation) and a Certificate of Attendance (upon completion of the webinar), which should meet the requirements of compliance.

Reporting of credits:
Please be advised that the DSBA has 30 days from the date of the seminar to report credits. Credits will be reported according to the date of the seminar not the date they are entered.
