Delaware has a distinctive approach to real property inheritance that differs in several important ways from neighboring states such as Maryland and Pennsylvania. This program will examine Delaware’s laws governing the transfer of real property at death, compare them with the approaches taken in surrounding jurisdictions, and highlight key considerations for attorneys advising clients with Delaware real estate or multistate estate planning needs. Attendees will gain practical insights into navigating these differences and avoiding common pitfalls.
Lunch will be provided courtesy of the Maryland Land Title Association

This course is being offered as the final program of the Maryland Land Title Association’s Fall Convention.
