Haunted Habeas Corpus: A Legal Look at Spooky Movies

This interactive CLE explores legal issues presented in popular scary movies, building on a recent Bar Journal article that contemplated possible civil and criminal acts in Halloween (1978) and Ghostbusters (1984). Guided through discussion prompts, attendees will identify and discuss fictional legal questions and how Delaware law might apply in real life. Come ready to discuss Poltergeist (1982), Zombieland (2009), Nope (2022), and any other spooky season movies that have jump scared you with their legal issues!

Lunch will be served.

This seminar offers 1.0 credits to Delaware and Pennsylvania Attorneys; 1.2 credits to New Jersey Attorneys.

Due to the interactive nature of this CLE, it will only be offered live in Wilmington, DE.
