Effective advocacy does not end with a well-crafted brief—it comes to life in the courtroom. This program explores how attorneys can successfully translate written arguments into persuasive oral advocacy, with a focus on courtroom presence, responsiveness, and strategic decision-making in real time.
Featuring two dynamic panels—one focused on criminal practice and the other on civil litigation—this seminar will highlight the distinct challenges and expectations in each setting. Panelists will share practical insights on delivering compelling arguments, engaging with the court, maintaining professionalism and credibility, and adapting strategy as proceedings unfold. Attendees will gain actionable techniques to strengthen their courtroom performance and confidently move from the page to the podium.
This is a joint CLE sponsored by the DSBA and the Delaware Bar Foundation.
This seminar offers 2.0 credits to Delaware and Pennsylvania Attorneys; 2.4 credits to New Jersey Attorneys.
Locations available are Wilmington, Live stream options in Georgetown and Seaford.
